Healthcare Assistant (Nights)

We are looking for compassionate and caring individuals to join our team at Westdale Care Home. As a registered not-for-profit organisation, we offer accommodation and care for individuals aged 60 and above, ensuring that any profits are reinvested back into the home and our staff.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Assistant (Nights) to complete our night team. The hours are from 9pm to 8am two/three nights a week on a rolling rota (22 to 33 hours a week) including some weekends with the expectation to cover extra shifts to help with holiday and sickness cover.

We require 2 years’ care/support experience employed in the UK.

This role includes:

· Medication administration

· Health care support

· Key working with residents

· Working with other professionals

· Learning and development

· Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes.

· Communicating effectively with residents, families, and the care team.

· Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity.

· Follow care plans and report any changes in residents' health or behaviour.

· Provide personal care to residents.

Key Information:

The available position is for a Healthcare Assistant (Nights)  for 22-33 hours of work per week (2-3 nights), which will include weekends. We pay £13.42-£14.32 per hour. We also expect team members to be available for additional shifts during holidays and times of sickness.
